Over the course of this past tax season, FESS and our Basic Needs team has been working with the Department of Revenue services in promoting the Washington State Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC). Out of 27 agencies, FESS was the top performer in clients who received WFTC funds.
Our Basic Needs team, Karin Oceguera, Mark Goebel, and Rosa Venancio, represented FESS at the state capitol on July 23rd where Karin presented as part of a panel of WFTC experts. It is our sincere hope that FESS can continue this work for families in our communities in Washington.
